LIX is the Roman numeral for 59. Even though these covers are brand new, they have the look well-loved parts from that era. Made from pure nickel silver, each piece is lightly aged and hand-polished for a soft sheen that will quickly age more on its own and will look identical to the parts on a vintage guitar.
Nickel silver delivers the most transparent tone available for your guitar. These covers have the correct shape and dimensions of the PAF covers from the late '50s and early '60s, and we've dimpled the polepiece holes just like the originals.
