Vintage Design Guitar by CreamTone • Survivor Series • Gibson Les Paul 1973 Deluxe
Occasionally we are presented with an opportunity to acquire a great guitar that's been damaged or neglected. It's a labor of love to bring these amazing instruments back to life and pure joy to hear them make music again. These are our Survivors!
We've rebuilt this Gibson Les Paul 1973 Deluxe from the ground up with the full line of LIX Patina lightly aged parts. LIX is the Roman numeral for 59. Even though these parts are brand new, they have the look and feel of well-worn parts from that era. Each piece is handcrafted in the USA for best quality and performance.
The body came to us stripped down, routed for humbuckers, and drilled for a mini switch. It screams mojo with lots of authentic play wear, but there are no breaks, cracks or repairs. It features a beautiful three-piece maple top on a mahogany body. It weighs 9.25 pounds, surprisingly light for a Norlan-era instrument.
The neck on this one is outstanding—very thin and easy to play. The nut, frets and finish are all original. The rest of the guitar is pure CreamTone!
A vintage 1970s red-lined Gibson case is included along with a CreamTone COA. The guitar has been set up with new Ernie Ball Hybrid pure nickel strings and dialed in to play like a dream. Of course, things can settle a bit during shipping and minor adjustments may be necessary when you unpack it, so we're including an extra set of strings.
This is an opportunity to own a 40-year-old vintage Les Paul for the same price as a new Traditional at the big-chain stores. This is a very special instrument you’ll be proud to take on stage night after night.
