CreamTone Vintage Design brings the tone, look and feel of the great vintage guitars from the 1950s and ‘60s back to modern Gibson USA Les Pauls.
We've rebuilt this Gibson Les Paul 2016 Classic Limited from the ground up with the full line of LIX Patina lightly aged parts. LIX is the Roman numeral for 59. Even though these parts are brand new, they have the look and feel of well-worn parts from that era. Each piece is handcrafted in the USA for best quality and performance.
This one is special. It is inspired by one of our favorite players, Joe Bonamassa. When we met him for the first time, he was extremely gracious and genuinely interested in CreamTone. When I told him about the parts he had inspired for our product line, he offered invaluable advice that helped us to make them as authentic as possible.
If you’ve ever thought about completely outfitting a new Les Paul with CreamTone parts, but didn’t want the hassle of parting out a new guitar and being stuck with all the leftovers, this is your chance to do it the easy way.
The body came to us brand new and has never been owned or played outside our shop. It features a maple top on a solid mahogany body with traditional weight relief, and a very nice dark rosewood fingerboard. It weighs 9 pounds.
The Goldtop finish is factory fresh and 100% original, as are the Plek’d frets and nut. The rest of the guitar is pure CreamTone! Assembled in our shop using our parts especially selected to enhance the unique character of this guitar.
The finish has not been intentionally aged, however a few light marks may be present.
A new, custom crocodile case is included along with a CreamTone COA, all the Gibson factory case candy.
