CreamTone Vintage Design brings the tone, look and feel of the great vintage guitars from the 1950s and ‘60s back to modern Gibson USA Les Pauls. We work with an authorized Gibson dealer and buy our bodies brand new. And we get the top shelf—the best wood, the best finishes, and the right weight.
Our latest is this Gibson Les Paul 2016 Traditional T—built in our shop from the ground up with the full line of LIX Patina lightly aged parts. LIX is the Roman numeral for 59. Even though these parts are brand new, they have the look and feel of well-worn parts from that era. Each piece is handcrafted in the USA for best quality and performance.
This one is special. It is inspired by one of our favorite players, Joe Bonamassa. When we met him for the first time, he was extremely gracious and genuinely interested in CreamTone. When I told him about the parts he had inspired for our product line, he offered invaluable advice that helped us to make them as authentic as possible. This Traditional brings it all together with a flame and finish nearly identical to the original Bonabyrd, with the features of the Custom Shop Bonaburst.

This CreamTone Vintage Design Traditional brings the best of these two guitars together in one incredible Les Paul.
The guitar came to us brand new and has never been owned or played outside our shop. It features a exceptional AA maple top on a mahogany body with traditional weight relief, and a rosewood fingerboard. It weighs 8.5 pounds.
The Desert Burst finish is factory fresh and 100% original, as are the Plek’d frets and nut. The rest of the guitar is pure CreamTone! Assembled in our shop using our parts especially selected to enhance the unique character of this guitar.
The finish has not been intentionally aged, however a few light marks may be present that reflect the hand-crafted quality of this instrument.
This one has a great top! Like most USA Les Pauls, it tends to pop stronger from certain angles, but it’s one of the best Nashville has to offer.
A new, custom case is included along with a CreamTone COA, all the Gibson factory case candy including the truss rod wrench and the keys to the case.
This is an opportunity to own a new, custom-built, Les Paul Traditional for the same price as the stock guitar at the big-box stores. But unlike those, this is an incredibly special instrument that you’ll be proud to take on stage night after night.
