CreamTone Vintage Design brings the tone, look and feel of the great vintage guitars from the 1950s and ‘60s back to modern Gibson USA Les Pauls.
We've rebuilt this Gibson Les Paul 2017 Standard T from the ground up with the full line of authentic CreamTone gloss parts. Each piece is handcrafted in the USA for best quality and performance. We usually outfit our guitars with our LIX Patina lightly aged hardware—but this one is so stunning, we decided to treat it as a brand-new build, so you can break it in properly and make it your own.
If you’ve ever thought about completely outfitting a new Les Paul with CreamTone parts, but didn’t want the hassle of parting out a new guitar and being stuck with all the leftovers, this is your chance to do it the easy way.
The body came to us brand new and has never been owned or played outside our shop. It features an absolutely stunning, one-in-a-million, flame maple top on a mahogany body—with Gibson's new Ultra-Modern weight relief—and a very nice dark rosewood fingerboard. It weighs 8 pounds, 1 ounce.
The slim-taper neck on this beauty demanded that we build it to 1960 specs. And it is spectacular! The Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish is factory fresh and 100% original, as are the Plek’d frets and nut. The rest of the guitar is pure CreamTone! Assembled in our shop using our parts especially selected to enhance the unique character of this guitar.
The new OHSC and all the Gibson factory case candy is included along with a CreamTone COA.
The finish has not been intentionally aged, however a few light marks may be present that reflect the hand-crafted quality of this fine instrument.
