CreamTone Vintage Design brings the tone, look and feel of the great vintage guitars from the 1950s and ‘60s back to modern Gibson USA Les Pauls.
We work with an authorized Gibson dealer and buy our bodies brand new. We only pick the top shelf—the best wood, the best finishes, and the right weight. Then we build them with the full line of LIX Patina lightly aged parts. LIX is the Roman numeral for 59. Even though these parts are brand new, they have the look and feel of well-worn parts from that era. Every piece is handcrafted for best quality and performance.
If you’ve ever thought about completely outfitting a new Les Paul with CreamTone parts, but didn’t want the hassle of parting out a new guitar and being stuck with all the leftovers, this is your chance to do it the easy way.
This Les Paul 2017 Traditional T came to us brand new and has never been owned or played outside our shop. It features a exceptional AA maple top on a dark red solid mahogany body with no weight relief, and a rosewood fingerboard. It weighs 8 pounds, 7 ounces.
We built this one with a Slash vibe. The moment we saw this body, we knew it was made to become this guitar. The limited-edition Darkburst finish is factory fresh and 100% original, as are the Plek’d frets and nut. The rest of the guitar is pure CreamTone! Assembled in our shop using our parts especially selected to enhance the unique character of this guitar.
This one has a great top! Like most USA Les Pauls, it tends to pop stronger from certain angles, but it’s one of the best Nashville has to offer. The finish has not been intentionally aged, however a few light marks may be present that reflect the handcrafted quality of this instrument.
Check out the case! This is our first build to include our brand-new, CreamTone-branded, brown case with a plush pink lining and satin cover, made by Gator! A CreamTone COA along with all the Gibson factory case candy is included.
This is an opportunity to own a new, custom-built 2017 Les Paul Traditional for the same price as the stock guitar at the big-chain stores*. But unlike those, this is a very special instrument you’ll be proud to take on stage night after night.
Handcrafted in USA.
