CreamTone Vintage Design brings the tone, look and feel of the great vintage guitars from the 1950s and ‘60s back to modern Gibson USA Les Pauls.
We've rebuilt this Gibson SG 2013 Standard from the ground up with our full line of parts. Each piece is handcrafted in the USA for best quality and performance. In 1961, Gibson dramatically changed the body shape of the Les Paul. For the next few years the guitar we now call the SG was branded as a Les Paul. We've built this one as a tribute to those first models.
If you’ve ever thought about completely outfitting a new Gibson with CreamTone parts, but didn’t want the hassle of parting out a new guitar and being stuck with all the leftovers, this is your chance to do it the easy way.
The body came to us brand new and has never been owned or played outside our shop. It features solid mahogany body with no weight relief, and a very nice dark rosewood fingerboard. It weighs 7.2 pounds. The finish is factory fresh and 100% original, as are the Plek’d frets and nut. The rest of the guitar is pure CreamTone! Assembled in our shop using our parts especially selected to enhance the unique character of this guitar.
The finish has not been intentionally aged, however a few light marks may be present that reflect the hand-crafted quality of this instrument.
A new, plush pink-lined case is included along with a CreamTone COA and all the Gibson factory case candy.
