One characteristic of vintage Les Paul Customs was the wide bevel of their pickguards. Reminiscent of the bound guards of classic jazz guitars, the wide bevel added an extra touch of elegance to an already beautiful instrument. We've found that the wide bevel looks outstanding on all sorts of guitars, not just the Customs.

NOS - No intentional aging. A few light marks may be present that reflect the handcrafted nature of our parts.

LIX Patina - LIX is the Roman numeral for 59. These parts are lightly to look and feel like well-loved parts from that era.

This guard fits recent production Gibson USA SG Standards. It will not fit Custom Shop Historic SGs, or vintage models. Contact us if you have any questions.
