Introducing the CreamTone Classic Collection for your Gibson USA (Standard, Traditional, Classic, etc.) Les Paul. Classic Collection parts are made in our shop on the Axiom Pro CNC. This allows us to streamline production so we can offer this American-made set at a very attractive price point.

Gibson has never made a vintage-reissue pickguard that fits USA Les Pauls, so we designed these guards to have the look of classic vintage models. The outer wing shape was taken from an original vintage pickguard. It's made from the correct .09 sheet material in a beautiful shade of cream (that's not pink, as some Gibson plastic tends to be), and sized especially for your Les Paul Standard, Traditional Classic, Studio, or any other production USA Les Paul. The pickup-spacing and hole-placement measurements were taken from a new genuine Gibson replacement guard and fits most USA Les Pauls made since the mid-90s*.

This set is offered with 3/8" modern-height pickup rings. The rings are flat on the bottom. All Gibson rings are flat when they're new. The plastic is pliable and conforms to the top carve as the rings are tightened down. Only Epiphone Les Pauls are fitted with carved-bottom rings at the factory. The set also includes our ClearBack switch ring/poker chip with the correct 59 font, and a .09 square jack plate that's guaranteed not to break under normal use.

Available in our NOS finish with protective plastic intact on the pickguard and jack plate. Shades of cream may not display correctly on every computer monitor. The last photo in the image gallery shows our cream next to Gibson USA and Gibson Historic plastics for your comparison.

Includes pickguard, pickup rings, poker chip, jackplate, and vintage-style wood screws for the jackplate and pickup rings. The toggle nut and tip shown with the poker chip are not included.

*We have successfully tested the fit on Gibson USA Les Pauls dating back to 1993. Some Standards made in 2004 have a unique pickguard fit that does not match the model. This pickguard does not fit Historic reissues from Gibson Custom. Upgrades for those models can be found in our Absolute Vintage Collection. Contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
