Presenting the CreamTone Firebird pickguard and truss rod cover!
We've always thought the Firebird truss rod covers were too plain. Especially on the Custom Shop Black Beauty models. So we re-imagined the 1959 Les Paul Custom covers with their wide bevel and engraved script and came up with this beauty!
Both pieces are cut from multi-layer material nearly identical to what Gibson used in the 50s, and we engrave through the top layer of black into the white so that it will never wear off with use.
Offered in your choice of two finishes:

NOS. Not intentionally aged, however a few light marks may be present which reflect the handcrafted nature of our parts.

LIX Patina. LIX is the Roman numeral for 59. CreamTone aged parts have the look and feel of well-loved pieces from that era.

To keep the price affordable, these truss rod covers are engraved and step-cut from sheet material on our Axiom CNC. The bevel is flat. Includes screws.
