Introducing the CreamTone Classic Collection for Gibson USA models. Classic Collection parts are made in our shop on the Axiom Pro CNC. This allows us to streamline production so we can offer these American-made parts for significantly less than other handcrafted vintage-style pieces.

The truss rod covers for Gibson USA models are a bit larger than Historic covers. And while the wide-routered edge of the vintage-style covers looks fantastic on the USA guitars, it's not uncommon for the stock covers to leave an outline in the finish on the headstock that Historic covers are not large enough to hide. We've encountered this issue often in our shop while fitting a Historic cover to a production Les Paul, and we think you'll agree we've come up with the perfect solution!

We took the correct shape and dimensions of the original covers from the 50s and enlarged their width just enough to fully cover the footprint left by the stock Gibson USA cover. The result is a gorgeous piece that will instantly give your guitar an old-school look.

Offered in two styles:

• Les Paul Gibson designed this style of cover in 1961 for the new Les Paul Standard, which we recognize today as the SG.
• Les Paul Custom The look of the late 50s Black Beauty covers.

To keep the price affordable, these two-ply truss rod covers are engraved and step-cut from sheet material on our Axiom CNC. The bevel is flat. Modern covers are injection molded and tend to distract from the beauty of your headstock. Includes screws.
