Most of the aged Grovers on the market today are the modern style, which are very different from the Grovers used in the 50s and 60s. Even Custom Shop Historic CC Reissues use the modern style. The original vintage tuners had a distinct shape which has become known as the "milk bottles." See the bottom photo on the left for a comparison. Jimmy Page had milk bottles on both his Number One and Number Two Bursts.
CreamTone is proud to present these vintage correct sets of genuine Grover reissue milk bottles in our LIX Patina finish. LIX is the Roman numeral for 59. Even though these tuners are brand new, they have the look of well-worn pieces from that era. These are direct, drop-in replacements for the modern-style Grovers.
